Crimp Beads
Crimp beads are used in jewellery making and are often used on necklaces or bracelets, to hold beads in place or fixings onto the end of your jewellery design.
1. To fasten a fastener to your design, simply thread the tigertail through the crimp-beads, then through your fastener and back through the crimp.
2. Pull the wire taught into position and either flatten with your flat nose pliers, or round off using
crimping pliers.
Crimp tubes are easier to crimp, although they have a higher tendency to split ... Our preference is to use the rounded crimp-beads
Crimps can be supplied in a variety of colours.
