============================================

When I started writing this newsletter, I just had 2-3 points to inform you about, but it has been quite a busy fun-packed month here at Bedazzle Beads and the newsletter has grown some-what !

I hope i've managed to break it down into bite sized chunks for you, as I know there is a lot here to take in ...

Summer time is here at last (or nearly over depending upon how you look at it) and hopefully the rain (or flooding) has stopped near you !

Don't get the summertime blues ... we hope that the features in this month's newsletter will get you all revved up for summertime and get those creative ideas flowing, or even help a little way to entertain the kids over the L-O-N-G summer holiday !

I have to say a BIG thank you to all the entrants for last months competition, it was very tough for us to decide on a winner, but we got there in the end ... The winner is revealed below (SEE SECTION 5)

1. Colour Trends For Summer 2007

Still very much in trend are the following ...

The simplicity of the season is mirrored by the importance of broad planes of colour.

White: in all its guises from crisp optic white to soft ivory and gone. The white palette crosses all trends and key items.
Greys: the new neutral for summer from softest pearl grey to stormy anthracite.
Navy blue: returns as a key fashion colour.
Blues: on all levels from pastel to deep and bright.
Browns: tone on tone, reassured and warm with aubergine and violet tones, offering newness.
Tropical exotics: inspired by a sunset over a tropical island with deep reds, raspberry, orange, purple and nut brown fade into neutrals.
Neutrals: sophisticated cool blue greys and pearly taupes to warmer yellow and soft corals.

We'll have an update of the autumn colour trends at the beginning of September !
